How We're Funded

Vancouver Lake Crew is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our ability to continue serving the community depends on your continued generosity.

Member Info and Links

VLC is a member of USRowing. USRowing is a nonprofit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States. More than 16,000 individuals and 1,100 organizations strong, USRowing serves and promotes the sport on all levels of competition. USRowing membership reflects the spectrum of American rowers: juniors, collegians, masters and those who row for recreation, competition or fitness.

Also, we are a member of Portland Vancouver Rowing Association. PVRA is a coalition of all rowing clubs in the Portland and Vancouver area. PVRA developed and maintains a fully buoyed, 7-lane, 2K race course on Vancouver Lake in Washington.

Adult members are invited to join Team Cowboy to receive up-to-date notices and information.

Current Members

VLC has about 27 masters members and 40 high school members that row year round. During the summer, the numbers swell with summer camps offered for youngsters, middle schoolers, and high schoolers. Also, collegiate rowers returning home for the summer join us on the lake.
