VLC alumni often return during the summer to row on the lake. Collegiate sweep rowers can take the opportunity to learn how to scull during the summer sessons of rowing. See the high school summer flyer for dates and times. Summer flyer is usually published in May.
Local college students are encouraged to come down and row. If you don't know how to row and would like to learn, you have several options. During the summer months, you can join our college/high school learn-to-row program that is offered through August. If you are interested in another season, contact Coach Alan about taking lessons. Our programs are very flexible and can accommodate most schedules.
Once you know how to row and are approved to row on your own, dues are $25/month. If you are only going to be rowing a few weeks, we would still appreciate partial payment. Every amount supports the club and the upkeep of the equipment and the facility.
